Jewelry that carries four thousand years of symbols
Scarabs, ankhs, Eye of Horus pendants and cartouche rings, made to be worn every day rather than kept in a box. Each piece is based on a motif with a real meaning behind it.
Ankh Jewellery started after a trip through the Egyptian galleries of a museum, where the jewelry cases held pieces more wearable than most things sold today. We could not find modern versions that respected the original shapes, so we began working with jewelers to make them. Every design starts from a documented artifact or an authentic hieroglyphic form.
We work with small workshops that cast, set and finish by hand in limited runs. That keeps the details sharp — the ridges of a scarab shell, the proportions of a djed pillar — instead of the soft, generic shapes you get from mass stamping.
What we pay attention to
Faithful symbols
We check each motif against museum references and hieroglyphic sources before it goes into production. Nothing is invented to look vaguely Egyptian, and every listing explains what the symbol actually meant.
Real materials
Sterling silver 925, gold-plated brass with a thick plating layer, and natural stones such as lapis lazuli, turquoise and carnelian. No hollow filler metal and no plating that wears through in a season.
Made for daily wear
Clasps, chains and settings are chosen so a piece survives being worn, not just photographed. Pendants are weighted to hang flat and cuffs are shaped to hold their form.
Straightforward pricing
We sell directly, without the multiplier that comes with a jewelry counter. What you pay reflects the metal, the stones and the hours of finishing.

A small team, one obsession
Ankh Jewellery is run by a handful of people who spend far too long comparing scarab proportions and arguing about the right shade of lapis. We answer emails ourselves, and we know which workshop made every piece we sell.
We add a design only once we have worn it for weeks. If a chain kinks or a plating dulls, it never reaches the shop.
